报告人简介:


The inventor of TSPC (True Single Phase Clocking), a clocking strategy well known in IC community, and used in commercial chips by Digital Equipment since 1992. The first author of paper “High Speed CMOS Circuit Technique,” receiving IEEE Solid-State Circuits Council 1988-89 Best Paper Award. The technique was used worldwide, and the paper has been referenced many times.
The inventor of well-known double edge triggered flipflop, published in 1991.
The inventor of many high performance CMOS sub-systems, such as high speed dividers and counters, high speed en/decoder, bit-serial and bit-parallel adders, high speed pipelined accumulator, very efficient bit-serial digital comparators, and ultra fast line receiver, etc. All of them have been published during 1988-1997.
The main inventor of parallel successive approximation ADC (PSA-ADC), creating a state-of-the-art performance: a 10-bit resolution and a 70 MS/s sampling rate, published in 1994.
The inventor of new CMOS latches and flip-flops, and the first author of paper "New single clock CMOS latches and flipflops with improved speed and power savings," IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, vol. 32, pp. 62-69, January 1997.
The inventor of floating-point ADC, a new type of ADC with expanded dynamic range, patented in 1998 and published in 1999.
The inventor of charge sampling circuits, patented in 1998 and published in 2000.
The main inventor of direct digital RF amplitude modulator using an interpolation
DAC, patented in 2000 and published in 2002.
The main inventor of non-feedback multiphase clock generator, published in 2002.
